[Patients]

The focal point of our medical database solution is of course the patient. We have designed our system to conform to one main tenant; to access any piece of information about a patient, all you need know is that patient's name. As you can see from the screen shot of our patient's window, once you have found a patient, any piece of information related to that patient is only a click or two away.

Finding patients or finding any piece of data in many competing practice management systems can be quite daunting. Often times, these systems overwhelm the user with complex and unmanageable reports in an attempt to provide access to many of the commonly needed pieces of information. Unfortunately, there is no way to know in advance all of the possible questions you might ask of your data or your patients. With this in mind, our product includes a context sensitive ad hoc query module which allows you to ask any question about your data and get a response immediately. For example, you might want to know all of the patients in the 14127 zip code with a blood type of O- and are between 45 and 55 and have diabetes. Or you may want to look at all of 99214s performed last month by Dr. Smith on patients with the diagnosis code V72.3 billed to Blue Cross and Blue Shield. With our medical database system, formulating these queries is as simple as pointing and clicking.

Our system has the ability to manage many of the basic clinical and administrative data about patients. However, the true power of our system is realized in many of our basic clinical data modules, and, in particular, those that are customized to meet your exact needs. Our ability to customize modules to your exact specifications without having to modify one iota of our application's core set of code is perhaps our strongest asset. It can provide you with an unparalleled means to manage your clinical data in manner which coforms to your exact clinical and administrative logic, giving you the power to better serve your patients and better manage your practice in the face of capitation. Take a look below at one such custom module. As you can see, it looks and acts like a first class citizen of the application.

[General Navigation]

Tasks in the medical environment can often times be highly repetitive. Much of the data entry, espcially dictations, follows highly regular patterns and often times involves a well defined short hand grammar. With this in mind, we have developed a user costomizable short hand dictionary which can be used throughout the application by simply typing a defined key and putting a space, tab or return after the key. There's no need to modify your typing flow by hitting cumbersome function keys

As with any practice management system, billing plays an integral role in the system's functioning. Some greater detail regarding billing is provided in the next section.
